The kitchen just might be my favorite room in our home because it's where we spend so much family time and because it's where everyone tends to gather when we host family and friends. We wanted a bright and white kitchen but also wanted it to feel warm and inviting so we have lots of natural wood and darker fixtures to pull it all together. Our walls are painted with Sherwin Williams 'Perfect Greige' which also adds warmth while keeping with the cooler tones of our home. Our kitchen table is from Restoration Hardware and I love it! Full disclosure, my family rarely EVER eats on this table. The majority of our meals are eaten on the island so it doesn't get much use. It has a beautiful raw wood look, but if you eat all your meals at the table and have little kids, I wouldn't recommend it. I've seen where you can seal it with Tung oil and it supposedly doesn't change the color too much, but there are still too many cracks and crevices for food to wedge itself into that it does NOT make for an easy clean. So while I love the look and am still happy we purchased it, that's something to keep in mind!
